Fox Cities Triathlon Club

Meeting Notes

Saturday, January, 19th, 2008 Noon

Homestead Meadows, Appleton

A few brave Foxes came at 10:00 and enjoyed a sunny, but crisp winters snowshoe/skiing, before the meeting.

Thank you went out to Steve Nagy, owner of Homestead Meadows for his hospitality. Although he was technically closed, he opened up for us, and spend much time plowing aside the snow for parking. Steve shared with us that he is a 30 year ‘would be’ triathlon; maybe we can change that??

Also Thank You to Kelly for the hot coco, and treats, they were enjoyed and appreciated by all.

A “Warm”Welcome to Mark Winter, new owner of Griffin Bikes who flew in from Texas!! It should be noted that Tony Free, who has worked with our club in the past will still be very involved with Griffin Bikes and the Fox Tri club. We look forward to working with Mark as well in the future to provide us with excellent bikes.
